The PO5 oxygen concentrator made by the medical technology company RESPIRCARE, RMS is a portable device with a built-in rechargeable battery to give patients who require oxygen flexibility and mobility.
Due to medical progress and the resulting demographic effects on the age pyramid, but also due to individual unhealthy lifestyles and environmental conditions and last but not least due to the long-term consequences of the pandemic, the number of patients who require oxygen is increasing worldwide. At home, these patients can be supplied with liquid oxygen systems (LOX: Liquid Oxygen) or stationary oxygen concentrators. Since these systems are fundamentally not portable, these patients are usually dependent on external support in their daily life.
The PO5 device from RESPIRCARE, with its light weight of just under 2 kg, its small dimensions and the adaptable battery that can be charged directly in the device, is ideal for making patients who require oxygen mobile again and minimizing their dependence on external support.
Two batteries with different power levels offer an autonomy of up to 12 hours depending on the application and type (battery type 1: 2 – 6 hours; battery type 2: 4 – 12 hours; depending on the device settings).
The system is complemented by a practical device carrying case, which can also be used as a shoulder bag or backpack in a few easy steps.
